Hollywood Liberals Have a Meltdown Over News Trump May Declare National Emergency

News that President Donald Trump will be declaring a nation emergency in order to secure funding for a border wall between the United States and Mexico is predictably not sitting well with his extreme critics in Hollywood.

It’s important to note in moments like these that the celebrities who constantly talk of impeachment and Trump’s acting like a dictator and not following the rule of law blindly supported President Barack Obama — who was constantly abusing power.

“Well, we can add another sickening example of abuse of power to the ever-expanding list of impeachable offenses. To declare a national emergency that doesn’t exist, except for the one created by the Pathological Liar, is beyond the height abusive political pandering,” director Rob Reiner tweeted.

The “Misery” and “Stand By Me” director has called Trump supporters racist in the past and denied that there is any crisis on the border.

Rosie O’Donnell showed just how deep her Trump Derangement Syndrome runs when she posted a video of herself using a stress ball with the president’s likeness.

She did an impression of Trump, saying, “Hey, Donald Trump here, I want my wall.”

Check out the video below and remember — this is a 56-year-old woman.

“Say Anything” and “Con Air” actor John Cusack retweeted a statement from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), saying, “There is not a ‘national emergency’ with regard to the southern border. What President Trump is doing is unlawful and must be opposed vigorously in the courts and legislatively.”

He later seemed to imply that saying there is a crisis at the border is a “lie.”

“We are living in a world of hacks and leaks — but the worst if it all is the normalization of lies,” tweeted Cusack.

The actor and writer followed up by tweeting, “Smears smears everywhere — smear repost — repeat.”

“The Wire” creator David Simon called the move by Trump “fascism.”

“When the leader of a republic can plan as a political strategy when to declare what is a national emergency and when that emergency shall begin so they can wield unrestrained power? That, fellow citizens, is a national emergency. Welcome to American fascism,” he tweeted.

“The West Wing” and “Get Out” actor Bradley Whitford was also not happy with the national emergency news.

He called the president a “Russian asset” in his criticism.

The Russian asset in the White House is the national emergency. The fact that he got out of his tanning bed today to play on his golf simulator because he’s not interested enough in our security to read the Presidential Daily Brief proves that Mel Brooks is a documentarian.

Hey Trump voters

He’s declaring a national emergency so he can make you pay for his wall.

Happy Valentines Day!

You know what’s a National Emergency? Babies and children taken from their parents and lost in the system by the US government. That.

Nothing says “National Emergency” like the app you use to remind yourself to get bananas https://t.co/rOBE3HaEoZ

So… there is no National Emergency. https://t.co/53vjlDWzC8
