It matters nothing to Democrats that President Trump was acquitted by the Senate last week, there will continue to be more investigations.

The party is furious that Trump would clean house by ousting the Vindman brothers from the National Security Council where they served as embedded agents hostile to the POTUS and are accusing him of retaliating against whistleblowers.

Unable to accept their stinging rejection of the sham impeachment and Trump’s desire to be surrounded by people who he can trust, the Democrats are determined to gin-up the basis of a second impeachment before the election.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has sent letters to 74 inspectors general calling for a probe into Trump’s firing of the Ukrainian twins as well as U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland.

They may be incapable of governing and even counting the votes but when it comes to investigations, the Dems have fully embraced the Soviet model.

Via Politico, “Schumer asks inspectors general to investigate whistleblower retaliation after Vindman firing”:

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is asking that every agency inspector general investigate retaliation against whistleblowers who report presidential misconduct, after the firing of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman from the National Security Council.

Schumer’s letters to 74 inspectors general, which will be sent Monday, comes after Vindman, a star witness in the House impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, was removed from his position at the White House on Friday, along with his twin, Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, an ethics lawyer at the NSC. Both brothers are active-duty Army officers and were reassigned to the Pentagon.

Gordon Sondland, ambassador to the European Union and another key witness, was also recalled from his post.

In a letter to Acting Inspector General Glenn Fine at the Defense Department, Schumer described the NSC firings as “part of a dangerous, growing pattern of retaliation against those who report wrongdoing only to find themselves targeted by the President and subject to his wrath and vindictiveness.”

Democrats are terribly upset over the loss of their White House moles and trying to recover from their most disastrous week since Hillary lost the 2016 election to a political novice who knew how to find Wisconsin.

Despite his being in the military, Lt. Col. Vindman felt that it was perfectly within his right to undermine his commander in chief over policy differences involving Ukraine, a corrupt ex-Soviet bloc hellhole that had tried to hire him as its defense minister.

Like the backstabbing neocon warmonger John Bolton who was praised at Sunday’s Oscars by actor Brad Pitt, Vindman has become a hero of the anti-Trump resistance and top Dems have spent the weekend glorifying a man who for all intents and purposes is a traitor.

Two days before he called a female student in New Hampshire a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier,” former frontrunner Joe Biden called for the audience at a debate to stand and show their allegiance to Vindman.

This round of investigations comes as it becomes increasingly obvious that none of the putrid collection of Democrat candidates has the chance of a snowball in Hell of beating President Trump in a fair election.

They have already normalized impeachment as a political tool, will they roll the dice one more time to try to take Trump out before voters to to the polls?
