During an appearance on Fox News Friday morning, Donald Trump Jr. discussed the Coronavirus and how Democrats are politicizing the issue to attack President Trump, which led to a Democrat Congressman appearing on MSNBC immediately after and becoming extremely triggered, threatening Donald Trump Jr. with a “serious altercation.”

Democrat Congressman John Garamendi then appeared on MSNBC, and made the completely unwarranted remarks after being asked for his thoughts on Donald Trump Jr’s statements made earlier.

“He should not be near me when he says that,”

“Why not?”

“There would be a serious altercation.”

Here is the Don Jr. remark that triggered the Democrat congressman:

“For them to try to take a pandemic and seemingly hope that it comes here and kills millions of people so that they can end Donald Trump’s streak of winning is a new level of sickness.”

“To run that in The New York Times, this isn’t Vox, this isn’t one of those left-wing journals…this is The New York Times writing this with seriousness, it’s truly sick,” he said regarding piece from the New York Times blaming Trump for the Coronavirus and calling it the “Trumpvirus.”

“Now those same Democrats last week, when my father shut down travel to and from China, were saying it’s an overreaction, it’s a disaster, ‘you’re being xenophobic.’ Now, they’re flipping that.” he added.

Donald Trump Jr. later demanded an apology, with a spokesperson telling the Washington Examiner:

“The outrageous remarks from Congressman Garamendi were beyond the pale and should be universally condemned by Republicans and Democrats alike.”

“By threatening Don Jr. with physical violence on national TV, Congressman Garamendi made clear to everyone watching that he is better suited to represent antifa than the people of California’s 3rd Congressional District,” he fired back.

“He should apologize immediately.”
