Mitch McConnell Trolls Pelosi After She Makes Impeachment Pens
On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell trolled far-left Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi after she had her giddy impeachment articles signing party.
While senators were signing in for the Senate impeachment trial, McConnell had them sign in with only one pen, an obvious troll on the Speaker of the House considering she used a new impeachment pen for each signature when signing the articles of impeachment.
“McConnell had each senator sign the oath book with a single pen, a day after Pelosi came under fire for smiling and handing out special pens to members following the signing of the articles of impeachment,” the Daily Caller reports. “This is in contrast to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton, where each senator signed the book with a different pen.”
Twitter reporters quickly took notice of the troll.
“No souvenir pens here. Called up in alphabetical order, each Senator uses the same pen to sign the Oath Book,” tweeted Mark Knoller.

Speaker of the House Pelosi has constantly tried to convince the American people that she is “sad” and “somber” about impeachment however her actions say differently.
While signing the articles of impeachment to send over to the Senate, Pelosi gave a big smile and passed out impeachment pens.
“So sad, so tragic for our country that the actions taken by the president undermined our national security, to violate his oath of office, and to jeopardize the security of our elections, the integrity of our elections, has taken us to this place,” Pelosi said. “So, today we will make history when the managers walk down the hallway, we will cross a threshold in history, delivering articles of impeachment against the President of the United States for abuse of power and obstruction of the House.”

Pelosi continued: “Yes, it is a fact: When someone is impeached, they are always impeached. It cannot be erased. So I stand by that comment, although I know you don’t like hearing it.”
Many people including some on the left, took the opportunity to slam the Speaker.
CNN reporter Lauren Fox took wrote, “So many pens that Pelosi will sign to officially transmit the articles of impeachment and sign resolution appointing House managers. Why so many? They will be given away to members like House managers as a symbol of today.”
Rep. Mark Meadows also hammered the Speaker, saying, “They claim it’s a somber, serious occasion they’re heartbroken over… and then they pass out impeachment-signing pens with special cases. Folks. You can’t make it up.”
